Halal status: Mashbūh (doubtful)

Nutmeg, a spice. Authorities differ. IslamQA rules it not allowed, even in a small amount mixed into food, as a precaution, because in large amounts it intoxicates. SANHA rules it halaal, because the fraction of a gram used in food is far below the roughly 30 g that causes hallucinations.
