Coconut Oil, derived from the kernel of the coconut. Codex names it a vegetable oil. SANHA advises that a halal meal may be prepared with pure, unused vegetable oil, and IslamQA rules that fats from vegetable sources are halal so long as nothing impure has been mixed with them.
