Polyoxyethylene (8) stearate, listed as E430, an emulsifier made from stearic acid and ethylene oxide. MUIS marks it doubtful. SANHA marks it doubtful and says to check the source of the stearic acid. A vegan claim or a halal mark on the pack settles it.
