Magnesium stearate, listed as E572, an anti-caking agent: the magnesium salt of stearic acid. MUIS and IFANCA mark it doubtful. SANHA marks it doubtful and says to check the source of the stearic acid. A vegan claim or a halal mark on the pack settles it.
