Halal status: Haram

Gin is unconditionally Haram. IFANCA explicitly lists gin as Haram to avoid, describing it as hard liquor. It is a distilled alcoholic beverage produced from grain and flavoured with juniper berries. All varieties are not permissible in Islamic dietary law.
