Chocolate Liqueur

Halal status: Haram

Chocolate Liqueur, an alcoholic drink flavoured with chocolate. It is not the same as chocolate liquor (cocoa mass), which contains no alcohol. MUIS rules that chocolate liquor is generally halal but chocolate liqueur is not, and MUIS's article on the two calls the liqueur definitely not permissible for Muslim consumption.
