Vinegar, a sour condiment made when a fermented liquid such as fruit juice is oxidised. SANHA rules that vinegar is halaal, and IslamQA rules that vinegar is permissible to eat, citing the Prophet's words “What a good condiment vinegar is” (Muslim).
