Dark Chocolate

Dark chocolate is unconditionally Halal in standard form. Toronto Public Health explicitly lists chocolate as Halal under Sugars and Sweets. It is made from cocoa mass, cocoa butter, and sugar. Varieties with alcohol-based flavourings such as liqueur chocolates are Haram and must be avoided.
